Pre-Orders will begin on 8/12/2010 (10am PST) and they will be open till 8/22/2010, unless there is a sellout. As a bonus, all Pre-Orders will be signed by legendary sculptor and artist of the piece, Lawrence Noble. Pre-orders will begin shipping September 7th. Pre-orders for the signed print have now closed.

Lawrence was originally asked to do the Empire poster back in 1979, after completion of the piece Lucasfilm chose to go with the version from Roger Kastel in the famous Gone With the Wind pose.

Lawrence’s design was eventually used as the official 10th Anniversary Poster of Empire Strikes Back in 1990.

This newly painted version of the Empire Poster is a revisiting of Lawrence’s original work, essentially Lawrence mentally took himself back to 1979 to do the Empire Poster with the addition of 30 years hindsight.

Lawrence Noble was featured in StarWars.com’s Artist Series which includes the story about his Empire Strikes Back poster.

We previewed the prototype of the Millennium Falcon Specplate at Comic-Con to a convention hall full of admirers. No release date yet, but it will be a 25 piece edition with a retail price of $1995. Image dimensions: 36″ x 17″ Framed dimensions: 43″ x 24″ This is the second in our series of SpecPlates, the first in the series was the Imperial Star Destroyer.
